LIBERIA - AN EBOLA CRISIS NOW - YOU CAN HELP
Documentary - Liberia: Emerging from the Shadows?
In September 2013, Wayne Schoenfeld and a film crew from P2P traveled to the country of Liberia, on the west coast of Africa. This film provides a glimpse into the daily struggles and triumphs of the Liberian people, following decades of civil war, a complete breakdown of basic services, infrastructure and political turmoil.
P2P is offering this film to view for free with the hope that viewers will be motivated to donate to Direct Relief, who is currently providing medical and humanitarian supplies to Liberia during this current Ebola crisis. More information on Direct Relief and how to donate is located below the video.
To address the current Ebola crisis in Liberia, P2P is working with Direct Relief, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that provides medical assistance to people around the world who have been affected by poverty, natural disasters, and emergency situations. Thanks to generous material and financial contributions, Direct Relief is able to work with healthcare professionals and organizations on the ground and equip them with the essential medical supplies and equipment they need to help people recover from a disaster.
Donations to Direct Relief
In response to the world’s deadliest Ebola epidemic to date, Direct Relief has already mobilized resources on the ground in affected areas and continues working to ensure medical responders on the front lines of the outbreak have the medicines and supplies they need to contain the epidemic, most importantly personal protective equipment.
YOU CAN HELP. By clicking below, you will be taken to Direct Relief's website where you can choose to direct your donation directly to the Ebola Response in West Africa (choice #4).
