The latest film by Wayne Schoenfeld has found its name: Mujeres.
This third piece of the Everyday Heroes Collection is a hymn to Guatemalan women, their smiles and their inalienable commitment to improving the lives of their families and rebuild their war-torn homeland, a country still plagued by violence and deeply scarred by decades of corruption.
As fresh as today's titles, Mujeres, filmed in 2011, is both the personal story of a family torn apart by tragedy and senseless violence, and an overview of a culture that tries painfully to heal.
